About VVI
Voices and Visuals Initiative (VVI) is a women-led national organization headquartered in Kampala, Uganda. Our mission is to amplify the voices of women, children, marginalized groups, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and refugees through innovative visual and audio storytelling, advocacy, research, and empowerment programs.
We are committed to raising awareness and addressing critical gender and protection issues, ensuring these groups are heard, understood, and empowered.
VVI collaborates with national and local governments, non-governmental organizations, international agencies, grassroots communities, community-based and civil society organizations, faith-based organizations, cultural and traditional leaders, and the media. Through these partnerships, we design and implement impactful programs, campaigns, and responses that drive meaningful change and strengthen the protection and empowerment of vulnerable populations.
